Welcome to Redwood Adventist Academy. 

Redwood Adventist Academy was established in Sonoma County in 1931 and has based its existence on a foundation of Christian education. Our curriculum emphasizes development of the whole person; mental, spiritual, and physical. Redwood currently provides instruction from Pre-School through High School, with opportunities for college credit through advanced placement courses.

Our campus is on Mark West Springs Road on the northeastern outskirts of Santa Rosa. We are located in a rural setting, with large playing fields surrounded by woodland foothills. We are blessed to have a beautiful school with more grass than pavement, providing plenty of room for growing children to run and play.

Our school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools. Redwood received a six-year accreditation based on the high evaluation given by the survey team.

We have testing and evaluations available on-campus to identify learning differences and to develop techniques and teaching methods to support the learner.

We have a music department that includes band, piano, and choral instruction with several performances throughout the school year.

The high school participates in interscholastic sports competition and is a member of CIF (California Interscholastic Federation). We also host and participate in tournaments with other schools, involving our men’s and women’s junior varsity and varsity teams.

Our students have opportunities to travel internationally on mission trips and to be a part of many off-campus learning and community service projects.

We have a computer lab, auto restoration class, Christian drama troupe, and numerous social activities, giving our students many ways to grow and to positively express their talents.

We have a culturally diverse student body.
